Students set up community art galleries to showcase their work and learn arts administrative duties including curating, promoting, organizing venues
Students organize in school or community concerts showcasing student performances including curating, organizing and promoting
Students develop oral histories of area and use digital storytelling project to develop/publish online
Students work with local organizations to develop projects with visual/audio/digital components e.g. library, land trust, non-profit
Students research, write and produce short videos/plays based on the characters who have contributed to and preserved the landscape of the area
Students produce personal maps/digital stories demonstrating their life journeys or the journey of the local heroes

Student create community on thinkartslifelearning.com blog to communicate ideas and develop dialogue around projects
